15 Storeys High Released On DVD

Flat owner Vince (Sean Lock) takes in new lodger Errol (Benedict Wong) and immediately begins to think that he’s made a mistake. Errol’s only crime, however, is that he’s a nice, considerate, thoroughly decent bloke. Vince has spent too much time living on his own and as a result is completely intolerant of anyone else. In fact, imagine a cantankerous, slothful, mean-spirited old man packed into the body of a 37-year old and you’ve pretty much got the measure of him.
In addition to Vince and Errol we dip in and out of the lives of the other occupants of the tower block: there’s wife-swappers, bible bashers, lap dancers, hopeless stoners, embryonic boy bands, hygiene obssessives, men who shout at telly’s and even a bloke who keeps a horse in the spare room.
Written by the award-winning comedian Sean Lock, together with Mark Lamarr and Martin Trenaman, 15 Storeys High was nominated for a BAFTA for it’s cleverly funny portrayal of a group of residents who come from all walks of life and all share one thing in common – nobody would want to be their neighbour.
This 2-disc set includes all the episodes from Series 1 and 2, commentaries on four episodes with Sean Lock, Mark Lamarr, Martin Trenaman, Mark Nunnelly (Director) and Phil Bowker (Producer), and Writing 15 Storeys: A Conversation With Sean Lock and Mark Lamarr.
