Fabulous February With True Movies

True Movies – the only UK channel dedicated to true stories – is delighted to present its February premieres. With 2.3 million unique viewers per month per channel, True Movies and True Movies 2 are together the most watched movie channels on Sky. Here are some of the February 2007 highlights.

2 February 07 22:30 NEW AND UNCUT: TRAPPED IN A PURPLE HAZE
Sporty teen Max Hanson seems to have it all, but when he gets hooked on drugs, his pushy mother must save her child. Starring Jonathan Jackson (General Hospital) and Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker in Episodes II and III of the Star Wars saga), alongside Oscar nominee Jobeth Williams (The Big Chill) and Colm Feore (Chicago).

Hollywood legend Paul Newman assembles a terrific cast (including his real-life wife, Joanne Woodward) for this 1980 Golden-Globe-winning drama, based on Michael Cristofer's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, about a group of terminally ill patients who are spending their final days at an experimental retreat.

23 February 07 22:30 NEW AND UNCUT: SCATTERED DREAMS
1950s Florida: a poor family is torn apart after the parents of five are wrongly sentenced to labour camps for crimes they didn’t commit. A mother’s love must keep them together. Starring multiple Emmy Award-winner Tyne Daly (Cagney and Lacey), Gerald McRaney (Major Dad) and Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) in an early role.
