Rogue Traders - New Single 'Way To Go'

Rogue Traders will release ‘Way To Go’ the third single from their debut album ‘Here Comes The Drums’ on 26th March. This is set to follow in the footsteps of previous singles ‘Voodoo Child’ and ‘Watching You’.

‘Voodoo Child’ was one of the top 10 tracks of 2007 and has now gone silver.

‘Way To Go’ follows in the same energetic footsteps as both previous singles and is a sexy upbeat pop tune. Opening with a catchy rhythmic hook then leading into Natalie’s fast-paced sweet yet husky vocals, it is typically Rogue Traders. ‘Way To Go’ keeps the rock vibe of ‘Watching You’ with thrashing guitars but balances the perfect mixture of rock and pop making it another obvious dance smash.

Stunning mixes come courtesy of top re-mixers TV Rocks and Dada. The boys from Melbourne TV Rocks are one of the pioneers of the sound of the moment; electro house. They produced ‘Flaunt It’ which is soon to be released on Ministry of Sound. Second remixer Dada (Matti Schwartz of Deepest Blue fame) has recently sparked the biggest bidding war in dance history with his current track Lollipop. Which incidentally is co-produced by Superstar Producer/DJ Sandy Riviera (Kings of Tomorrow).

Rogue Traders were nominated for 4 ARIA Awards in 2006 (Best Group, Highest Selling Album of the Year, Breakthrough Artist – Album, Best Pop Release). The album continues to be a phenomenon in Australia; it is now 4 x platinum and is currently #33 on the ARIA album chart after 64 weeks. It is an album full of hits, as past singles have showed, and ‘Way To Go’ is set to prove again.

Rogue Traders are lead by keyboardist and talented producer James Ash and vocalist Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who some may also know for her Neighbours fame as sexy soap bitch Izzy Hoyland.
