Live Earth - A Date For The History Books
For anyone not lucky enough to get tickets to the concerts the BBC has lined up some of its top presenters to front its coverage of what promises to be the year's biggest music event.Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and Edith Bowman will host coverage of Live Earth, which features a sensational line up of international artists, including performances from Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers and James Blunt amongst many others.
And with TV and radio coverage of Live Earth from London and right around the globe, the BBC continues to be the place to enjoy huge scale live music events.
Jonathan Ross will present live coverage of the London concert on BBC One and BBC Two. From a special studio at Wembley, he will provide his own unique brand of commentary as well as speaking to a host of international superstars and special guests about the day's music and the environmental issues behind the concerts.
Making sure that viewers don't miss out on any of the day's must see moments, Graham Norton will be based in another special location within the stadium, catching up with more of the event's performers and special guests.
While Edith Bowman will be in the thick of things by the stage, keeping viewers up to date with all the action as it happens and chatting with the bands.
In the build up to the concert Jonathan will also be hosting his BBC Radio 2 show live from Wembley in the morning, while later in the day Radio 2's coverage continues with a special show hosted by Russell Brand, featuring live coverage and highlights of the concerts.
Coverage of Live Earth will also appear across BBC Radio 1 and the BBC World Service.

Artists performing live on stage at Wembley include: Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Blunt, Snow Patrol, Razorlight, Keane, Damien Rice, Corinne Bailey Rae, David Gray, Duran Duran, Genesis, Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, John Legend and Paolo Nutini.
With Live Earth concerts spanning all seven continents in locations including: New York, Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Kyoto, Sydney, Hamburg, Shanghai and Istanbul, the BBC will also feature highlights from the best of the international shows.
Created by former United States Vice-President Al Gore and Live 8's organiser Kevin Wall, the Live Earth concerts aim to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Providing context and analysis on the day the BBC's environment correspondent David Shukman will explore these issues along with other experts in the field.
The Live Earth concerts will take place across the globe on 7 July.
