Ben Richards Trades In Football Boots For Police Uniform

Best known for playing control freak, Bruno Milligan in sexy series Footballers Wives, and more recently seen in Holby City and on the West End stage as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Ben Richards is returning to our screens as heart-throb P.C. Nate Roberts in ITV1’s longest running drama series, The Bill.

Ben said "The Bill has always had an extremely high standard of acting and storylines, and I'm really pleased to be joining such a great cast."

Intelligent and charming, PC Nate Roberts is an experienced copper who joined the police force six years ago to drive fast cars and chase criminals - it’s a job that offers him an exciting challenge every day of his life, a group of mates to go drinking with and a shift pattern that gifts him a four-day weekend. Nate knows how to treat a woman but he also knows how to break hearts and very rarely, if ever, gets his own broken too.

Ben’s first appearance will air at the end of November 2007.
