E4’s Skins To Film Secret Party Special

One-off special of hit drama Skins to be the first programme to be broadcast exclusively on MySpace. To celebrate the launch of Skins series 1 on Channel 4 this August, a ten-minute Skins Special will be broadcast exclusively on MySpace.

This is the first time a TV programme will be filmed exclusively for MySpace. The one-off special will be first broadcast from the Skins MySpace profile at myspace.com/e4skins on Friday 17th August.

What’s more, the Skins MySpace community members – of which there are currently over 55,000 friends – have got the chance to be part of this one-off filming event and get to party with Sid, Chris, Michelle and the rest of the cast afterwards.

Filming is taking place at a secret location in Bristol on 2nd August. After a hard day’s filming, the exclusive party will kick off with a special guest performance from Foals - myspace.com/foals.

E4 is also looking for an aspiring interviewer and talented party photographer to capture the atmosphere of the event, and a new DJ to play a set.

This special will give audiences another unique Skins experience and a taste of what to expect from the hotly anticipated second series.”

Members of the Skins community are encouraged to vamp up their MySpace profiles and add Skins flyers and banners to campaign to be picked to attend the filming and party.

Skins is made by Company pictures for E4 / Channel 4. The one-off special is written by Max Gogarty and will be directed by Owen Harris, produced by Chloe Moss. Chris Clough is the series producer; with Bryan Elsley, Charlie Pattinson and George Faber as executive producers.

Skins series 1 starts on Channel 4 on Tuesday 21st August at 10pm. Series 2 is currently in-production in Bristol and will be broadcast in 2008.
