Steven Frears’ and ITV Productions’ critically acclaimed and multi-award winning film The Queen will be coming exclusively to ITV1 this autumn. Winner of the Academy Award for best actress, Dame Helen Mirren gives a spellbinding performance as HRH Queen Elizabeth II.On September 1st 1997, the world wakes to the tragic news that Princess Diana has died in a car crash.
