The party celebrations can begin with this unforgettable show where Michael Parkinson has personally picked each guest to ensure a once in a lifetime classic line up.

Billy Connolly: Having first appeared on Parkinson in the early 70s, Billy Connolly holds the record with Kenneth Williams for appearing the most on the show.

Dame Judi Dench: A true British legend and good friend of the show having appeared many times in recent years.

Sir David Attenborough: A true great and as much a part of the TV landscape as Michael Parkinson himself.

Sir Michael Caine: An acting legend and someone who has appeared on the show in every decade since it began.

Peter Kay: A comedy genius who also used to be the ‘warm up’ man for the show before finding fame with Phoenix Nights.

Dame Edna Everage: Friend of the show, international housewife, and megastar who adores Michael Parkinson.

Jamie Cullum: His first album was recognised by Michael Parkinson way back in 2003 and Jamie regards Michael as someone who helped him break out into the mainstream.
