Morrissey to perform live session for Radio 2
Morrissey is to perform a live session for BBC Radio 2 from the BBC Radio Theatre, London on Wednesday 11 February. One of the foremost singer/songwriters of his generation, Morrissey's session can be heard in Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's Radio 2 show between 9.00 and 10.00pm.It will feature classic hits and tracks from his eagerly anticipated new studio album Years Of Refusal. The album follows the critically acclaimed Ringleader Of The Tormentors and You Are The Quarry and features the forthcoming new single I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris.
This exclusive live performance for Radio 2 takes place before Morrissey embarks on a world tour which sees a sell out performance at London's Royal Albert Hall and homecoming shows in Manchester.
Online video of the session will be available for seven days from 12 February at bbc.co.uk/radio2.
Radio 2 Live With Morrissey can be heard on Wednesday 11 February, 9.00-10.00pm.
The Radcliffe And Maconie Show can be heard Mondays to Thursdays, 8.00-10.00pm, on Radio 2.
