Summer Arrives At Natural History Museum
Summer, a new alfresco bar and restaurant, will be open in the gardens in front of the Natural History Museum from mid-May to the end of August. The stylish venue offers light, summer-inspired, quality food and drinks in an exquisite area of leafy South Kensington, London.Step away from the crowds to relax and refresh over lunch, or indulge in special afternoon tea menus. In the evening, drop in for cocktails and a tapas-style menu or stay for dinner. The covered area offers lovely views of the gardens and is a convenient meeting place, whether you are visiting the Museum or treating friends and family to a perfect summer experience.
Lunch is served between noon and 14.30.
Choose the freshest flavours of summer from a concise, contemporary menu. Swift service makes Summer ideal for stopping off while shopping or during the working day. Reasonable prices should continue to attract regulars.
Afternoon tea is served 15.00 to 17.30.
A choice of three menus includes inspired versions of favourite cakes and tantalizing indulgences - including blueberry scones and rich Belgian chocolate cake, all made on site.
Dinner or tapas-style dishes to share are served 18.00 to 21.00.
In the evening, Summer transforms with a sophisticated, convivial and romantic ambience. At sunset, the Museum's awe-inspiring facade is lit up to create an unforgettable mood.

Expertly created cocktails range from exotic cachaca mixes to refreshing cool cucumber gin and tonics to chill you in a London heatwave. Refreshments are served throughout the day with a choice of teas and wines by the glass, including crisp English and Mediterranean sparklers.
