Cheshire Life success for Harvey Nichols
Widely renowned as one of the most glittering dates in the North West’s culinary calendar, Cheshire Life Magazine hosted its annual hospitality awards on Tuesday 2 October celebrating the highest standards in the region, awarding Restaurant of the Year to Harvey Nichols Second Floor Restaurant.Triumphant over other top city eateries to win the much-coveted ‘Cheshire Life Manchester Restaurant of the Year’ prize for 2007-2008, Harvey Nichols Manchester has firmly established itself as one of Manchester’s premier dining venues, now adding this award to its ever-growing collection.
Alison Seagrave, Executive Chef at the Second Floor Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie, was overjoyed to win and commented, “What a fantastic night! We are delighted to win such a prestigious award, particularly with so many other great restaurants in the same category!”
A panel of independent judges have criss-crossed the region during the summer in search of the North West’s finest food where some of the best locally sourced ingredients in Britain can be found. All the short listed ventures were highly commended in their individual categories for admirable achievement.
