Thanksgiving at Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor Cafe

30th October 2007 Print
Thanksgiving at Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor Cafe In homage to friends across the pond, the Fifth Floor Café will be serving a special traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday 29 November 2007. The original Thanksgiving meal apparently went on for three days. The Fifth Floor Café’s menu is slightly more reserved having managed to fit the spirit of celebration and indulgence into three courses.

The meal is full of delicious veggies, the traditional pumpkins and squash, and turkey and cranberries which are naturally low in fat, leaving guests still able to fit into their slinky black dresses and suits for the party season (however we are saying nothing about the dessert!).

The Thanksgiving meal is available for lunch and dinner at the Fifth Floor Café on Thursday 29 November priced at £24.95 for three courses. To make a reservation, book online at Harveynichols.com.

Thanksgiving menu at Fifth Floor Café:

Starter
Butternut squash and apple soup with Parmesan croutons
Baby spinach, bacon and dried cranberry salad with honey Dijon Mustard dressing

Main Course
Traditional turkey breast with roasted chestnuts, Brussels sprouts, rosemary roasted new potatoes, onion and sage chipolata and cranberry sauce
Slow oven roasted pumpkin, leek and fried sage risotto

Dessert
Selection of ice cream with maple syrup
Classic Pumpkin pie with honey roasted pecan nuts
