Christmas cabaret arrives at Hi Sushi Salsa

Hi sushi salsa, the Japanese restaurant offering a touch of Latino cuisine, is proud to announce the launch of its boutique cabaret nights. On Thursday 6th December and 13th December unique live performances will take place in the intimate restaurant and bar.

Tribute acts to Beyoncé and Tina Turner will take to the floor, flanked by dancers, delighting diners with performances almost as good as the real artists themselves. Karaoke has been held in the affections of the Japanese for many years now and these shows are entirely in keeping with the Japanese ambience of the venue, taking karaoke to a professional yet wonderfully kitsch new level.

Guests can enjoy the show from the comfort of the authentic sunken seating with a complimentary cocktail and a selection of sushi rolls for £20. Or for £29 they can enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne and full set menu offering a selection of sushi, sashimi, prawn tempura, chicken teriyaki, gyoza dumplings, grilled seabass, yakitori skewers and green tea ice cream. Those simply wanting to enjoy the show from the stylish bar area will be charged £10, including a complimentary glass of champagne.

6th December – Sasha Stevens will delight guests with soul classics from divas including Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald before transforming into Beyoncé and producing one of the finest tributes in the UK. Sasha is a young soul singer-songwriter who has performed at The Royal Albert Hall and on television.

13th December – Vinette Cowan will take to the floor as the one and only Tina Turner. From her voice to her costume, Vinette is a dead ringer for one of the world’s most talented and respected divas and will entrance guests as she performs an array of Tina’s hits. Vinette has spent a lifetime performing on the West End stage and has appeared in classics including ‘Starlight Express’, ‘Fame’, ‘Hair’, and ‘Chicago’. Both singers are supported by dancers Troy and Renee, who have danced with a whole host of stars including Kylie Minogue.

Since opening in Camden Lock this summer, Hi sushi salsa has become a firm favourite with locals and with those from further afield due to its delicious cuisine, relaxed atmosphere and great music offering.

Both shows promise to be truly memorable and entertaining and are not to be missed as part of the Christmas season!
