Learn the art of Sushi at Chino Latino

Head Sushi Chef Lorenzo Bautista will share his trade secrets in a Sushi Masterclass on Saturday 6 June 2009. Bautista learned the craft during two years in Japan and has worked in some of London and Dubai’s top Japanese restaurants, including Zuma.
Dating back to the Fourth Century BC in Southeast Asia, sushi was a method of preserving fish and has since transformed into a healthy, highly nutritious and fashionable cuisine enjoyed by the likes of Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani and Miley Cyrus.
Food enthusiasts will enjoy sushi and sashimi demonstrations by Bautista, before creating their very own Japanese delicacies. The event culminates in a delectable lunch of mouth-watering Pan Asian cuisine with half a bottle of wine per person.
This intimate and exclusive cooking extravaganza costs £25 per person and allows for only 25 participants, so ensure early booking to avoid disappointment.
Lorenzo Bautista’s Sushi Masterclass takes place at Chino Latino 12pm to 3pm on Saturday 6 June 2009. To book, email avdwesthuizen@pphe.com.
