Set in Murcia, the garden State of Spain, along the golden coast of the Costa Calida is the famous development development by Polaris World, The Mar Menor Golf Resort. To any standard of golfer this could quite easily be heaven!

Entering through the lavished gated entrance, staffed by security 24hours, you are greeted by a long stretching boulevard of palm trees, ornate street lamps and colourful properties. Nearing the top of the boulevard the five star intercontinental hotel looms into view. The grandeur and sheer scale of this architectural masterpiece completely dominates the skyline whilst forming a perfect crescent around the large pool, sumptuous gardens and the undulating 18th green.

Facilities within the Mar Menor development are second to none. Spas, saunas, gym, indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, bars and shops can all be found in the intercontinental hotel itself which is open all year round for all residence to use. These first 9 holes were designed by Dave Thomas with an additional 9 holes and revamp of the existing 9 coming from Jack Nicklaus which will soon be playable. No round is complete without a visit to the spike bar with its vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and bridge room all overlooking the last hole.

Although The Mar Menor Golf Resort was one of Polaris Worlds first developments and sold out very quickly, they have decided to extend and refurbish this development slightly further.
