Rotherham family find their cave in the Sun

When Jonathan and Emma Moorhouse from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, started looking for their holiday home in the sun, they were open to ideas and thought finding their ideal retreat would be easy. After months of research, looking at different countries and types of properties, they were beginning to give up on their quest of even finding an affordable family destination; their criteria was that they wanted to keep going back to the same place time and time again, and that it would also be a safe financial investment. Within two days of looking on the website, Emma and Jonathan had booked a trip to Galera and had arranged with Spanish Inland Properties to view some of the cave houses for sale.

Jonathan continued “As we drove into the village of Galera we could see what a pretty, idyllic place it was, we didn’t really know what to expect from a cave house but once we saw them we thought they were great, so quirky and individual with all the comforts you could wish for. At the end of first day we had a found a cave we loved and started the process of buying it. “
