Brits snap up beachfront homes in ‘a privileged location’

Already they have snapped up 11 of the 24 individual beach houses which form part of the first ‘frontline’ phase of a planned 200 homes to be built by the Spanish Almanzora Bay Group which describes the development as “a privileged location on the Mediterranean beach front.”
Each of the three-bedroom three-bathroom beach houses features an L-shaped open-plan living/dining area opening on two sides on to a raised deck-style veranda with a pergola and a built-in barbecue.
The design of the properties has a distinct maritime flavour, with wooden decks and circular porthole windows.
On the first floor, a private roof terrace, looking out to sea, is located outside the master bedroom. On the spacious solarium above, 360 degree views take in the beach, the sea and surrounding mountains. A full size basement provides a large extra space for a games room, wine cellar and storage.
Fully-fitted kitchens, white goods and bathrooms are standard, but come with choices of colourful ‘beach style’ joinery, cupboard fronts and tiles. Every home has warm and cool air-conditioning installed in the living room and all bedrooms.
Standard swimming pools and a provision for landscaping are included in the price.
The beach houses have floor areas of more than 190 sq m and terraces and balconies of more than 100 sq m on plots ranging in size from 500 sq m to 743 sq m.
Prices start at €590,000 rising to €1,200,000 for frontline ‘feet in the sand’ beachfront properties, of which only two remain available.
