The Viva Espana Show

The show returns this year, bigger and better than ever, with something for everyone, so if you’re a sun worshipper looking for your next Spanish beach, or a culture vulture seeking out the art and artists that make Spain so famous, pay Viva España a visit. And in between all that sunbathing and gallery hopping, there’s the fabulous food to enjoy and wonderful wine to wash it all down.
Music lovers need look no further as Las Tunas shake up the live stage with their Iberian sounds. The main stage will play host to the troupes of Escuela de Baile Flamenco and the Royal Duja Flamenco. And would-be dancers can learn this famous dance in fabulous flamenco lessons. And when you can fire it up like a true flamenco professional, why not take part in the Strictly Spanish Dancing competition, judged by TV dance favourite, Brendan Cole?
Even when Britain is plunged in to deepest darkest winter, the Spanish are experiencing warmth and sun. Many of the Britons who relocate to Spain quote the weather as their number one reason for leaving Britain. So if you’re considering moving to the sunnier climes of Spain, make your first stop Viva España, where a whole host of real estate agents and developers will be gathering to showcase the very best of Spanish property from across the country.
And for the food and wine lover in you, this year’s show will play host to world-class chefs from award-winning Spanish tapas restaurants such as El Gato Negro. These culinary experts will be cooking up a Spanish storm at the Viva España Cookery Theatre, creating authentic Spanish dishes. Watch closely, and pick up some tasty tapas tips.
And for some liquid relief, why not visit Charles Metcalfe at the show? As one of the UK’s best known and most amusing wine critics, this connoisseur will be hosting seminars on one of Spain’s finest exports, teaching novices about wine tasting, and helping experienced wine lovers widen their horizons even further, encompassing some of the best kept secrets of the Spanish cellars.
So whether it’s dancing, drinking, eating or even a new lifestyle that you are looking for, look no further than Viva España 2007. It’s the only show dedicated to Spain in the heart of London. Olé!
