Everyone’s a winner in luxury Spanish property raffle!
Ten stunning mountain homes on the Spanish island of Mallorca are up for grabs in a unique lottery linked to one of the island’s top hotels. For every ticket sold, participants will be given a voucher for £100 – the exact cost of the ticket -- to redeem at Scott’s Hotel, described by the Good Hotel Guide as ‘Heaven’. Taking part in the raffle is effectively free.
The 'no lose' draw is being promoted by Scott Properties, owner of the ten homes, which offer handmade oversized beds, designer interiors and individual South-facing private terraces with breathtaking views down a green valley to the sea.
Said George Scott, MD of the company: “There are 33,333 tickets to be sold, and each gives 10 chances to walk away with the keys to a fantastic holiday home - incredible odds compared to, say, The National Lottery, which offers only one chance in 14 million.
“And even if you don't win a house in the raffle, you still have the money you invested in our hotel vouchers. There are no strings, no catches, no taxes - ten winners will get a key and a deed.”
The properties are set at the crest of a mountain valley in three acres of tranquil gardens surrounded by fig trees, palms and fragrant pines.
They share a pool with swim jet; relaxing bar area and a BBQ area overlooking the vista. For those who want to take care of themselves there’s an exercise room and sauna.
Designed by one of Spain’s top architects, all ten of the chic properties feature Vi-Spring beds, Ralph Lauren linen, DVD players, fully equipped kitchens and private terraces with sun loungers and tables for al fresco dining.
“There’s no catch,” says George Scott. “We are ready to semi-retire and concentrate on running our original hotel. This is an imaginative way for us to downsize.”
Details of the offer and the properties which are grouped in the mountains, 20 minutes from the capital of Palma, are on the website myhideawayinspain.com
“It’s a unique competition where everyone wins” said Mr Scott, whose earlier achievements include founding a charitable trust for stress alleviation education and writing two well-reviewed mystery novels.
