Chesterton makes first move out of the Central London market
Chesterton, central London estate agents, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Millest and Partners, the company’s first office outside of London.A thriving residential agency with a history dating back over a hundred years, Millest and Partners is located in a distinctive, sixteenth century Tudor building on a prominent high street site in Sevenoaks, Kent.
This addition, following the recent acquisition of central London agency Copping Joyce and Stickley & Kent, advances Chesterton’s expansion.
Robert Bartlett, Chief Executive of Chesterton Global, comments: “We are pleased to be taking the Chesterton brand out of Central London for the first time. Sevenoaks is an active market in which Millest and Partners is a strong performer and that, coupled with the professionalism of the company’s staff, makes it an ideal acquisition for us at this stage in our growth.”
John Millest, the firm’s principal, adds: “I am very pleased to be looking forward to a future with a company whose brand outlook is so strong. Chesterton will focus on building on our success in the Sevenoaks area to become the force to be reckoned with, bringing all the dynamism the company displays in the competitive London market.”
Millest and Partners will be re-branded as Chesterton from 1st July. All key staff will remain in their operational roles during the transition period and there will be no interruption to day to day procedures or any disruption for clients.
