Planning permission granted for 12 luxury cottages in Kent

31st May 2007 Print
Planning permission has been granted to Hillreed Homes by Dover District Council for the erection of 12 luxury, two, three and four bedroom mews style cottages in Saddlers Hill, in the village of Goodnestone, near Faversham in Kent.

Goodnestone is an unspoilt village yet it is within easy reach of J 7 of the M2 for links to M20/Maidstone. The nearby A2 links Goodnestone with the beautiful city of Canterbury. Coastal resorts such as Whistable, Herne Bay and Margate are all within easy reach.

Goodnestone comprises just 150 properties together with a church, school, post office, village hall and the famous Goodnestone Park Gardens home of Lady Fitzwalter and venue of many annual charity events.

“This is an excellent opportunity to buy a brand new home in an established village community”, says Jo Richards Corporate and Marketing Manager. “Planning permission in a rural location is quite rare so we expect demand to be quite high for these houses”.

Hillreed Homes is a major, award winning company which has been building quality homes throughout Kent for over 30 years. The new homes have been designed to complement the local vernacular and provide high quality accommodation within a quiet, private environment.
