New homes touch down in Ashford

A range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes from award winning developer Redrow, including some large detached properties, are the latest to join the ranks at The Paddocks – offering buyers a versatile choice in their hunt for the perfect home.
A selection of the homes will also be available to buy with part exchange – meaning that buyers will not have to worry about selling their previous home.
Caron Hutchins, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern) says: “We’re really pleased with how sales are going at The Paddocks, and we know that this next phase of homes will prove to be just as popular as the previous ones. The great location close to the centre of Ashford has proven to be a good hook for families and couples, while commuters are also seeing the advantage of living so close to Ashford Station to get to London.
“The part-exchange which we offer on selected plots is ideal for buyers who want to move quickly without having to worry about selling their current house. There is no risk of their buyer changing their mind at a crucial moment and delaying the whole process, so, free of all this worry, our customers can sit back and enjoy their move.”
Among the new selection at The Paddocks are the four-bedroom detached Medlock and Weaver homes. The Medlock comes with a kitchen, living room, dining room, utility room, understairs storage, downstairs cloakroom, family bathroom and en-suite shower room, while the Weaver has a further en-suite and a study. Prices start at £235,000 for a Medlock home and £305,000 for a Weaver.
Caron adds: “Brand new detached homes of this nature are becoming quite a rarity in the current climate as planning regulations mean there is more focus on providing apartments, terraces and townhouses.”
Also available at The Paddocks are the three-storey Lambourne and Ouse homes. These cleverly designed homes have proved popular across the country thanks to their extra storey of living space provided by the cleverly converted roofspace. The four-bedroom Ouse comes with a spacious lounge, kitchen/dining room, utility room, downstairs cloakroom and en-suite to master bedroom. The Lambourne displays a similar layout – but with a separate kitchen and dining/living area. Prices begin at £210,000 for an end-terrace.
A small selection of two-bedroom apartments are also available – the Lark and Allen designs, with prices beginning at £152,995.
The Paddocks at De Montford Park is located off Tithe Barn Lane, Singleton Hill – just a few minutes from Ashford. The town boasts two shopping centres as well as a designer outlet centre on the outskirts, a popular market, restaurants, pubs and hotels. Ashford also has a variety of sports clubs and community groups, including Ashford Town FC.
The location so close to Ashford gives The Paddocks excellent commuter links with London, which is an about an hour’s journey from Ashford and Ashford International stations.
Gatwick, Stansted and Heathrow Airport can be reached via the M20/M25. The popular Folkstone Racecourse, the inspiration for the development’s name, is accessible from junction 11 of the M20.
