A whole new lifestyle at Aspects in Maidstone

In the last year life has completely changed for Janet Thompson and Simon Gibbon; they bought a property for the very first time, moved from South London to Aspects, Fairview New Homes’ development in Maidstone and started new jobs!

“We decided to move away from London to improve our lifestyle,” says Janet.

“My daughter is at secondary school and we wanted a better environment for her. When we looked around, we found Maidstone ticked all the boxes. It’s not too far from London and has a nice town centre, fabulous bars and restaurants, beautiful parks and surrounding countryside. It’s also easy to get to the coast. Even though there are plenty of new developments, Maidstone certainly isn’t overcrowded.”

“With the help of Fairview New Homes’ sales team who offered us good first time buyer incentives and helped us find an independent financial advisor and a solicitor, we bought the apartment off plan and waited for it to be completed,” continues Janet. “We came down about four times to view the building progress and finally moved in about three months ago.”

Janet is now working at a hairdressing salon in Loose and her journey to work only takes about five minutes, her daughter is settled into the local secondary school which is about 20 minutes’ walk away and Simon, a carpenter, is travelling to Canterbury. Completely coincidentally, Simon is currently working on Connection, a Fairview New Homes’ development on Rheims Way in Canterbury!

“We are very pleased that we have bought rather than renting,” concludes Janet.

“It makes more sense to buy and offers more security for our daughter. Fairview helped us through the process because we were first time buyers and didn’t know much about the process of buying a home.”
