Showing their team colours

The Cuxton 91 Cougars are proudly showing off their team colours every Sunday morning in a new kit which has been sponsored by the housebuilder Charles Church. Every weekend the team can now be seen wearing a brand new blue kit which consists of a long-sleeved shirt, winter fleece, socks and shorts.

The team, who play in Division 3 of the Medway News League, are currently in second place and are hoping for promotion at the end of the season. The under 17 team wore their new kit for their first time on Sunday morning, and beat the Chatham Colts 11-2.

Denise Rogers, Sales Manager for Charles Church South East, says: “Charles Church is always looking for opportunities to give something back to the community in which is it developing. When the opportunity to sponsor a local and successful football club came up, we jumped at the opportunity. The team came down to our Medway Gate development before their match on Sunday to show off their ball skills and they looked really smart and professional in their brand new kits.

“We look forward to hearing about the team’s performance throughout the rest of the 2007/2008 season and wish them all the luck for the rest of the year.”
