Millwood measures up as sponsor

Millwood measures up as sponsor Award-winning housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes is getting musical in its latest endeavours by sponsoring a local opera.

The production, called the Barber of Savile Row, is inspired by Rossini’s classic opera The Barber of Seville and will be performed by ‘Unexpected Opera’ at the Royal Victoria Theatre Hall, Southborough from Thursday 24th April to Sunday 27th April.

The production is from the same Directors who staged The Bat’s Revenge in Royal Tunbridge Wells, which was very well received and this latest opera looks set to repeat this success.

Matthew Quirk, Director of Unexpected Opera comments: “Rehearsals are well underway for our latest production The Barber of Savile Row and I cannot thank Millwood enough for their support. We pride ourselves on bringing Opera to wider audiences and with Millwood’s sponsorship we can achieve this. Moreover, all the bar proceeds from the performances will go to Hospice in the Weald and I hope the community will be equally supportive of this important local charity.”

John Elliott, Chief Executive of Millwood Designer Homes comments: “With our reputation as Royal Tunbridge Wells pre-eminent housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes is strongly committed to supporting the local community in which it builds and is proud to be a sponsor of Unexpected Opera. I am looking forward to the show and encourage people to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets for The Barber of Savile Row are priced at £32.50 (£24 matinees) and are available from Trinity Theatre Box Office.

Millwood Designer Homes is currently building a number of quality developments in Kent and Sussex.
