Octave hits the right note

Octave hits the right note Connells are currently marketing three very different developments in Kent on behalf of Octave Homes, a local house builder with a rapidly expanding portfolio.

Whether you prefer city living, a quiet village setting or a home with great access to London, you should find something to fit the bill.

Bellflower Mews is a very attractive development of just six 2 bedroom houses and twelve 2 bedroom apartments set around a secluded Italianate garden on the exclusive south side of Canterbury. It has been carefully and tastefully designed in keeping with its historic surroundings, with traditional style red brick, Juliet balconies and Bath stone. Located off New Dover Road close to the Kent County Cricket Ground, Bellflower Mews is within a few minutes walk of the city centre and mainline station. Prices for the apartments start at £219,950 and the houses range from £235,000 to £275,000.

For those who prefer to live in a traditional Kent village steeped in history yet conveniently close to all that Canterbury has to offer, Woodmans Hall could tick all the boxes. Surrounded by orchards and hop fields the village of Boughton is on the route once taken by pilgrims journeying to Canterbury and Chaucer actually mentions the local pub in his Tales.

With a mix of one and two bedroom apartments, three bedroom townhouses and four bedroom detached homes there’s something for everyone. And whatever size or style you choose, you can be sure of the same quality, generous specification and attention to detail. Prices range from £144,950 to £379,950.

Finally, if fast connections to London are a high priority, then take a look at Eleanor Court in Rainham, fifteen minutes drive from the recently opened Ebbsfleet International Station. Rainham itself has direct rail services to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Victoria and the M2 is just a few minutes drive away. Eleanor Court, named after Queen Eleanor whose manor it originally formed part of, is set around a courtyard in a secluded cul de sac just a short distance from the town centre.

There are a total of twelve 3 bedroom family homes, all finished to a very high standard. For example the en-suites are equipped with quadrant shower booths which have a rain head shower, a hand held shower, 6 hydro-massage jets and integral light, fan and mirror – and there’s even an in-built radio.

Three quarters of the homes at Eleanor Court, where prices start at £239,950, have already been reserved by purchasers who have been impressed by the location and quality of these charming homes.
