Exceptional affordability in Coxheath

Exceptional affordability in Coxheath When it comes to affordability, a home at Crest Nicholson’s ultra contemporary development Avante in Coxheath, Kent stands out from the crowd. Competitively priced and meticulously designed to be highly energy efficient, the properties at the scheme offer overall affordability with significantly cheaper running costs than other homes.

Avante is an innovative collection of 150 one and two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom houses that are pushing the boundaries of sustainable living. The homes at the scheme have been designed to reduce the consumption of energy and water and as a result the cost of living at Avante is greatly improved.

Now select homes at Avante are even more affordable. Crest Nicholson has just launched its EasyBuy initiative at the scheme where purchasers have an opportunity to secure a stylish new home for just 75% of the asking price.

EasyBuy is not a shared ownership scheme and purchasers at Avante will own 100% of their new property from day one. Unlike similar schemes, with Crest Nicholson’s EasyBuy there is absolutely no rent to pay or interest accrued on the outstanding 25% of the property’s equity for the first five years. The deferred amount is paid back at 25% of the property’s open market value at any time up to resale or after 10 years, which ever is sooner. Therefore, a three bedroom house at Avante, priced at £240,000 is today only £180,000.

The eco-design features at Avante have been carefully considered; firstly, all homes at the development have been rated ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’ by the EcoHomes independent system rating for domestic properties. Homes feature a whole-house ventilation system with heat recovery; this system provides a constant background flow of fresh tempered air to the home and extracts condensation - the result is lower humidity, a healthier living environment and lower energy bills.

Furthermore, Glazing is minimised in the bedrooms to reduce heat loss and is maximised in the living areas to let light flood in. Generous amounts of daylight have been achieved in all properties and is delivered to the heart of the home by a central lantern roof light (a kind of atrium). This unique feature also provides natural ventilation and improves solar gain without compromising security. Lastly, low energy lighting has been incorporated in to areas of the property that will endure high usage reducing electricity consumption.

Pippa Bugby, Sales and Marketing Director, Crest Nicholson (South East) Ltd. comments: “There has never been a better time to secure a brand new home at Avante and compared to other homes their affordability extends from the purchase price right through to their running costs. People associate eco-friendly products and sustainability with expense, however at Avante we are providing greener homes that are also friendly to the bank balance.”

As with all Crest Nicholson homes, properties at Avante have been finished to an excellent standard. All properties are complete and ready to move in to and include a fully fitted kitchen with a full range of stainless steel integrated appliances. Bathrooms feature elegant white sanitaryware and are complete with stylish chrome fittings.

Prices at Avante: With EasyBuy two bedroom houses start from £157,000 and £180,000 for a three bedroom house.
