Stedlyn Retreat – A sell out success

8th May 2008 Print
Having received a commendation at the Mail on Sunday British Homes Awards and holding the title of Best New Development in Kent at the Daily Mail UK Property Awards, Stedlyn Retreat now has something else to celebrate – it is a sell out success.

The ‘village within a village’ idyll created in Lynsted, by award-winning housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes, has been a phenomenal success and it is easy to see why. Upon entering the development purchasers are greeted by an eclectic collection of homes designed in a variety of styles.

The architecture includes quaint cottages to larger detached homes, which utilise black and white shiplap weatherboarding and feature red brickwork, as well as beautiful Tudor styling with exposed timbers. There is something for everyone at Stedlyn Retreat, which makes it easy to see why it was a favourite with the judges and with purchasers.

John Elliot, Chief Executive of Millwood Designer Homes, comments: “Stedlyn Retreat was a celebration of Kentish architecture, fusing a host of architectural styles in an exquisite semi-rural setting. It joins the sell out successes of our other developments in the area, including Cliffsend Meadows which, given the current market climate is truly impressive. It just goes to show that there is still demand for homes of a certain calibre in the right locations and this is why we are still selling across a host of developments.”

If you missed out at Stedlyn Retreat why not take a look at another Millwood development in the area. The Warren is a collection of 6, five and six bedroom homes, all of which have been individually designed. Not only do the homes benefit from signature architecture but with Ebbsfleet International located less than 9 miles away, it really is the perfect investment. Guide prices for the homes are from £775,000.
