A room with a view

A room with a view With dramatic vistas stretching over the Kent countryside, you couldn’t ask for a better location, which is why Arundel House at Ridgewood View boasts an architecturally striking design that brings the outside in.

Ridgewood View comprises two extensive homes situated on a private road in Langton Green, by award-winning housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes. Both homes enjoy stunning views over the surrounding countryside and Royal Tunbridge Wells, which has played a large part in shaping the striking design of the homes and that of Arundel House in particular.

John Elliot, Chief Executive of Millwood Designer Homes, comments: “One of the most striking features of Arundel House is the extensive use of glass to the rear elevation, which blurs the boundaries between the inside of the home and the outdoors. Moreover, an impressive mezzanine level offers the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy the sun set over the surrounding countryside.”

Both Berwick Houses and Arundel House are spectacular examples of the high level of specification that Millwood incorporates into its developments. As one enters through the solid oak front door into the hallway, you are greeted by a stunning hardwood oak staircase, which creates an imposing entrance.

The kitchens have been individually designed by Smallbone and boast two large single ovens, a 5-ring ceramic induction hob and a stainless steel extractor hood by Miele. Integrated appliances also by Miele include a dishwasher, as well as two plate-warming drawers, while an American style fridge/freezer completes the impressive specification. The sumptuous bathroom suites enjoy white sanitaryware by Sottini and the master bedroom boasts an en-suite featuring a Whirlpool bath for the ultimate in opulence. Finally, underfloor heating throughout provides further indulgence and convenience.

Both homes have been created to make the most of the latest technology and have been wired for a satellite TV system, computer/data installation and an entertainment system with speakers to selected rooms. For peace of mind the homes are fitted with an alarm system, as are the triple garages, which feature electronically operated doors. The homes also boast a video entry system and electronic front gates and together with the main entrance have been pre-wired for CCTV.

The village of Langton Green benefits from a selection of local shops and the vibrant town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is less than 3 miles away offering further amenities and a mainline train station, providing regular links to London Bridge and London Waterloo in under 1 hour. The renowned Holmewood House school is within minutes of the development, while slightly further afield is a host of outstanding schools, including Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar, Tonbridge School, Beechwood Sacred Heart School and Skinners School.

Arundel and Berwick House are priced at £2.435 million each. For more information visit the website at Mdh.uk.com.
