Crest Nicholson unveils new homes at Ingress Park Crest Nicholson has unveiled the latest collection of homes at its multi award-winning development Ingress Park, situated within the heart of the Thames Gateway overlooking the river at Greenhithe in Kent.

The Pier will comprise ultra-contemporary one, two and three bedroom riverside apartments and is the next phase of this outstanding project which has been duly recognised by the construction industry; these apartments represent the latest opportunity for potential purchasers to secure a home within the community which has been awarded several National HomeBuilder Design Awards along with a coveted CABE (the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment) Building for Life gold standard award.

On the banks of the River Thames, The Pier boasts a prime position within Ingress Park and many apartments will enjoy stunning views. Architecturally, this phase is a bold statement, a strikingly modern collection of homes. Dispersed across several apartment blocks, angular lines will combine with expanses of glazing to form a distinctive and eye-catching collection of luxury riverside homes.

Internally the apartments at The Pier will be contemporary and stylish. The angular shape of many of the buildings will create funky layouts that will provide a real ‘wow factor’. All homes will be open plan and floor to ceiling glazing will allow light to flood in and in turn maximise the stunning views.

All homes will have a luxury finish; Commodore kitchens will be complete with a range of integrated stainless steel appliances including oven, hob, extractor hood and fridge/freezer. Bathrooms and en suites will feature Villeroy and Boch sanitaryware and will be finished with smart chrome accessories.

Along with the apartments, it is proposed that The Pier will also include a doctor’s surgery, a community centre and a selection of cafés and restaurants. In addition, there will also be a new boat launch at the development.

The Pier is the latest addition to Ingress Park, one of the Thames Gateway’s earliest and most successful developments.Formerly a 72 acre brownfield site, Crest Nicholson has transformed it in to the area’s premier address; comprising a total of 950 homes, centred on the restored grade II listed Ingress Abbey, residents can walk safely along mature, tree-lined boulevards, car-free avenues and also leisurely enjoy the scheme’s riverside promenade and heritage walk through old woodland. The grass amphitheatre situated next to the resorted Abbey, also provides a stunning setting for summer picnics.

The Pier is excellently located and provides an ideal home for commuters. Nearby Greenhithe Station, which has recently been upgraded, provides fast and efficient services in to London Bridge (45 minutes), London Victoria (60-90 minutes), London Cannon Street (50 minutes), Waterloo East (43 minutes) and London Charing Cross (50 minutes). In addition, the newly opened Ebbsfleet International Station offers direct services to the Continent and from 2009 commuters will be able to take advantage of the new domestic service to London St Pancras in just 17 minutes.

The Pier is just a stone’s throw from Bluewater, one of Europe’s largest shopping centres which offers a wide selection of major high street shops along with designer names and eating and leisure facilities.

Prices at The Pier start from £165,000 for a one bedroom apartment. For further information visit Crestnicholson.com.
