Antler Homes supports government initiative

6th November 2008 Print
Antler Homes supports government initiative Antler Homes has come up with a way to help struggling purchasers buy a brand new apartment at its Bishop's Field development in Maidstone. The private developer is supporting the government driven MyChoiceHomeBuy initiative, which gives key workers, first time buyers and those struggling to buy a home on the open market the opportunity to buy using the part-buy/part-rent scheme.

With the scheme, buyers are offered a shared equity loan of between 15 per cent and 50 per cent of the purchase price of the apartment.

The scheme is available on properties under £250,000, which includes the two-bedroom apartments featured in a Georgian style apartment block. Each offering spacious living accommodation, and with two bathrooms, the apartments offer more than enough space for a couple or a pair of friends wanting to share. The open plan living/dining area and kitchen makes for the perfect place to relax, whilst there are two generous bedrooms - one with built-in Hammonds' wardrobes and en-suite facilities.

Purchasers will be attracted to the specification of the apartment, which features a luxury custom built kitchen with stainless steel oven, gas hob and extractor canopy as well as integrated dishwasher and washer / dryer. Other features include contemporary fitted furniture to the bathrooms, ash veneered internal doors and an installed security alarm system.

Bishop's Field is conveniently placed for access to the centre of Maidstone, yet benefits from being surrounded by playing fields and parkland. The town of Maidstone offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a variety of leisure facilities.
