Can’t sell? Hillreed Homes could help you There are a lot of people who want to move home and the only thing that is stopping them is their inability to sell their current property. This is where Hillreed Homes, developers, are offering a helping hand.

“If you cannot buy because you cannot sell, we will help you”, says Jo Richards, Marketing and Corporate Manager at Hillreed Homes. “We are in the business of marketing homes so we have an inside knowledge of the marketing strategies needed to secure a sale, which is why we are offering this expertise to anyone who comes to us wanting to buy one of our new homes”.

Certainly the idea is one which will take a great deal of strain off the home owner and also give them peace of mind knowing that the sale of their house is receiving personal attention from a professional company – and that there is no charge for this service.

“We will be there to advise and offer practical solutions like free use of our recently launched brand new web site hillreed.co.uk to display their current home. With over 700 hits a week, this is a sound way in which to ensure that the home is seen by a wide range of buyers from across the region”, continues Jo.

“There are many other ways we can offer practical help in the selling of a person’s current property and if interested people are welcome to call, tell us which of our homes they want to buy and what they are wanting to sell and we will ensure that we give them 100% attention to assist in their endeavours. There is lots of information under our “Lets Get Moving” scheme which you can read all about on our web site”, continues Jo.

Prices obviously have been reduced at developments to reflect the current market slow down so those with houses on the market may be able to reduce the price of their property and make it substantially cheaper than others in the area.

Another possible solution to help make your property stand out is the Hillreed Homes Helping Hand Scheme operating at a number of sites where you own 100% of the property you buy, but you only pay for a percentage up front with up to 10 years to buy the remainder.

The Scheme works like this. You own 100% of the property when you purchase but you pay for just 75% and what is important to note is that you do not pay rent on the remaining 25%. You own the property but are deferring 25% for up to 10 years. This again could mean that you may be able to substantially reduce the price of your current home.

So, if you want to move perhaps you should visit some of Hillreed Homes’ developments to see the wide range of homes currently under construction.

Take for instance, Kings Hill, near West Malling, Kent. Close to Maidstone, with easy access J4 M20, good train services, open countryside and everything at the development from a golf course to schools, nursery, shops ( including Asda), restaurants, pubs and a David Lloyd centre you would be hard pushed to find anything so exciting for miles around.

Currently Hillreed Homes has two developments at this prime location, McArthur Park, Discovery Drive, a development of 15, two and three bedroom homes and Greenway, Amber Lane where there is a development of 2,3,4 and 5 bedroom houses.

Both developments therefore offer a wide choice of homes across the price spectrum.

A new show home is opening and there are several already there so buyers can take time to browse and fully appreciated the high level of build, stylish layouts and exciting décor.

Take for example the “Wingham” house type. This is a very attractive ad spacious three double-bedroom semi detached house with garage. Prices start from just £249,950. There are two at McArthur Park and two at Greenway, one of which is the show home and includes carpets, curtains, light fittings and turf. This particular property is on the market for £264,950 having just been reduced by £20,000 for a quick sale.

Other homes include a two bedroom end of terrace house with parking ( Rudgwick house type) at just £214,950 well beneath the Stamp Duty bracket. A number of these excellent homes have already sold at McArthur Park.

Currently the highest priced property is at £336,950 for a superb three bedroom detached house with garage. This has an additional ground floor study/office which has been designed for those wishing to work from home for additional family income. Plot 54 at Greenway is a show home and buyers would also receive fitted carpets, curtains alarm, light fittings and turfed garden.

“We really can make your dreams come true”, adds Jo. “You could be in you brand new home by Christmas with the joy of having all your family and a Xmas lunch cooked in a brand new, sparkling kitchen!”

Show homes and sales offices at both developments are open 7 days a week. There are a number of incentive schemes available in addition to the free help with the sale of your current home.
