Stamping out stamp duty in Rochester

19th January 2009 Print
Antler Homes is offering to pay the stamp duty on the last remaining home at River View in Rochester if it is reserved before Valentine's Day. Plot 3, currently on the market for £534,950, would have a 4 per cent stamp duty charge, which equates to £21,398. But Antler Homes will scrap the tax if a reservation is made before Saturday, February 14.

With elevated views over the River Medway, plot 3 is a four bedroom detached family home offering a spacious rear garden and a single garage. The home features an open plan family/kitchen, study, utility and dining area on the lower ground floor, and a spacious lounge with balcony and bedroom 2 with en-suite facilities and a built-in wardrobe on the ground floor. The first floor is home to a family bathroom and three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and built-in wardrobe.

Finished to the highest of standards, the home comprises a luxury custom built kitchen featuring granite work top, Stainless steel appliances, ceramic floor tiles and an integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Bathrooms and en-suites have classic white sanitaryware, contemporary fitted furniture and an exclusive range of designer wall tiles. The attention to detail doesn't stop here - externally, purchasers will find turfed front and rear gardens, external lighting to the front and back, and an outside tap.

River View is well placed for the historic Rochester city centre, the M2 motorway and of course, the River Medway. Rochester offers a variety of independent and major retail stores as well as a good selection of café-bars, restaurants and cinemas.

Combining a superb location with fine architecture and first class build quality, plot 3 is just waiting to be reserved. Visit the show home and marketing suite, open Thursday to Monday between 10am and 5pm, for further information. Alternatively, log on to Antlerhomes.co.uk.
