Couple part-ex to new home that ticks all their boxes

Helen Gordine and Ben Redpath have found a property that ticks all the boxes – by trading in their flat for new home at Bryant’s Kemsley Fields development near Sittingbourne in Kent.

“Part-exchange worked out really well for us because the market had slowed – in fact, my flat was still up for sale at the end of the year,” adds Helen. “If we had tried to sell it ourselves we probably wouldn’t have moved yet!

“We also really like the fact our house looks out onto fields at the back, and that it’s in a peaceful location.”

Helen and Ben, who work locally for the Civil Service, chose the finishing touches to their home, which Bryant installed before they moved in, including stylish black and white flooring, tiles and units in the kitchen/dining room, and contemporary neutrals in their two cloakrooms and two bathrooms.

“It’s a home that has everything we wanted,” says Helen. “We plan to stay here for a good 10 or more years!”
