Easy living at Kings Walk in Maidstone

29th May 2009 Print
Easy living at Kings Walk in Maidstone Home-owners struggling to sell their home can make a quick and easy move to Bryant’s new Kings Walk development in Loose near Maidstone in Kent.

With a choice of schemes available to help customers avoid getting stuck in the property chain – and wipe out the hidden costs and the hassle of moving home – the development offers a breath of fresh air for anyone thinking of moving.

Tina Westlake, Regional Sales Manager for Bryant Homes, explains: “So many people are struggling to sell their current home – and without a buyer the chance of their offer being accepted on any new home is seriously affected.

“Our part-exchange and Marketmover schemes at Kings Walk mean that people can come along and choose a new home while we ensure they get a good price for their current property. It’s a simple way of beating the slowdown in the property market.”

Using part-exchange, customers receive an independent valuation of their existing property by Bryant’s appointed agents, and the leading house-builder purchases the property leaving the former owner free to move to their new home at Kings Walk.

Under the Marketmover scheme, Bryant will help to sell your current property and provide a Home Information Pack (HIPs), when a buyer is found they could then make a contribution towards the legal fees and removals costs.

The three-bedroom ‘Delamere’ is just one of the homes currently available at the development.

Priced from £224,995 this delightful home features a spacious reception room with French doors to the rear garden, a contemporary kitchen and a cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom, while a master bedroom with en-suite facilities can be found on the top floor.

Like all new homes at the development, the ‘Delamere’ enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

Alternatively, the three-bedroom ‘Ashbourne’ townhouse starts at £239,995, and the four-bedroom ‘Clifford’ is available from only £269,995.

Kings Walk is a small development of just 49 homes and 34 apartments in Loose, an established residential area to the south of Maidstone with the open countryside just a short walk away.

Bryant Homes is also building a new sports and community centre with room for a playgroup, local group meetings, a fitness suite, and an outdoor all-weather pitch as part of the scheme.

Kings Walk is just over a mile from Maidstone town centre, and benefits from a choice of good local schools for children of all ages.

The development is close to the new Fremlin Walk shopping centre, Mall Chequers Centre and a choice of supermarkets that have helped put Maidstone among the UK’s top 50 retail towns. Swimming pools, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema and theatres mean that there’s also plenty to do during leisure time.

For commuters, the M20 is within easy reach, and the M25 only 25 miles further on, while regular rail services to London run from Maidstone East, and Ashford International offers quick links to the Continent.

House-hunters can visit the Kings Walk Marketing Suite, off Melrose Close, Maidstone, from Thursday to Monday from 9.30am to 5pm.
