Bucking at Hampton Heights Kent builder, Blueberry Homes is bucking the trend in property sales in Herne Bay, Kent. A quarter of the contemporary designed sea front apartments at the new Hampton Heights development in Herne Bay have already been reserved.

Susan Bennett, Sales Manager at Knight Frank commented: "Since the recent launch we have had a tremendous amount of interest in these beautiful new homes, and now with as many as 11 apartments reserved it shows buyers are recognising that it might just be the right time to make their move, and they’re recognising that if they don’t get in early they might miss out. The popularity can be attributed to the development’s location along with attention to detail which provides a more enhanced and complete living experience for apartment owners."

While outside the architecture is sympathetic to local history, inside the apartments use contemporary design to maximise the use of natural light and space, offering a luxury lifestyle with superb sea views.

Director of Blueberry Homes said: "I redesigned the sea facing façade several times to make sure that the quality inside was reflected in what people could see from the outside."

Aimed at a broad range of buyers, Hampton Heights comprise 24 two and three bedroom apartments ranging in size from 681 to 2417 sq ft and offer luxurious living with interiors finished to an impeccably high standard. The magnificent, third floor penthouse apartment faces directly over Hampton Bay, and boasts spacious accommodation with panoramic views from all main rooms. The apartments offer a sumptuous lifestyle with superb outlooks from windows, balconies and terraces. Individual and stylish, each room maximises the use of natural light and space.

The beautifully designed turret creates a really attractive feature, both from the outside and inside for some of the homes. Four of the apartments have rooms which incorporate the turret area, which creates a unique dining area that not only enhances the room layout but provides stunning views from each angle of the room. The communal hallways are especially light due to the contemporary glass design. Combining a traditional construction with contemporary specification, the apartments provide an easy to maintain home in an glorious location.

Herne Bay provides a wealth of local shopping facilities and restaurants, weekly markets and boat trips. Hampton Pier is a short distance away and has its own yachting club and the town also boasts a sailing club, golf club and angling club. There is a wide selection of primary and secondary schools, both state and independent providing excellent educational opportunities in the area.

Central London is currently less than 90 minutes away by rail and Herne Bay will also be part of Kent’s new high speed rail link in 2009, joining St Pancras to the Channel Tunnel and Continent, which will reduce the train time to approximately 72 minutes. The town is a short drive from the A299 off the M2 and less than 30 minutes from Canterbury, Manston International Airport, Ashford International and the Channel ports.
