Master a move to your dream home

18th March 2007 Print
New homes at Danum St Giles in Scawthorpe are already attracting discerning buyers from across Doncaster and beyond - and now the house builder responsible is making it even easier to make that move.

By introducing its ‘Mastermove’ service at Danum St Giles, award-winning Redrow Homes is showing buyers with an existing property they need to sell, how to be in their chosen new home in just three easy steps.

Julie Rayner, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland) says: “Many people would like nothing more than a new home, but are being held back by the worry of selling their existing house. By using Mastermove, they can pass some of the work involved in marketing the property over to us.”

This helpful scheme allows customers to ‘hold’ their dream Redrow home for up to four weeks, whilst Redrow pursues a targeted action plan – and all for a minimal fee of £50. Once their house has been sold, Redrow will then pay all of the estate agent’s fees, and refund the £50 Mastermove fee.

Julie says: “We will appoint a handpicked local estate agent to manage your house sale and, after a free valuation, will agree a price at which to market your property. We want the best for our customers, which is why we only choose effective agents to work on your behalf.”

After the customer’s property is on the market, a member of the local Redrow team will look after the sale, chasing the agent up on a weekly basis and dealing with ‘red tape’ – leaving the customer with more time to concentrate on choosing their new Redrow home.

The Mastermove service can be used to purchase any available home at Danum St Giles and there are plenty of property designs to choose from. The one-bedroom Aire apartment, priced from £118,885, would make the perfect first buy for those who want to get on the ladder and comes with a parking space included.

For young professionals, the two-bedroom Calder starts at £127,995, while fledging families might be interested in the range of three-bedroom homes, priced from £152,995 to £192,995. Buyers who are looking for something larger should also find what they’re looking for with the Langdale and Lea designs, priced at £224,995 and £229,995 respectively, which both offer sought after features such as en-suite facilities, under-stairs storage, separate dining rooms and downstairs cloakrooms.

Julie adds: “We’re really excited about the potential of Danum St Giles and as people begin to move into their homes it should flourish into a vibrant community. Mastermove could help you be a part of this sooner than you might expect.”

Danum St Giles itself is situated just three miles north west of Doncaster city centre, with its wealth of bars, restaurants and shops. Bentley railway station is under half a mile away, and regular services run to Doncaster (five mins), Leeds (45 mins) and Sheffield (45 mins) – making it ideally located for commuters. The Doncaster/Sheffield Robin Hood airport is under 30 minutes away, and both the A1 and M18 motorways are also nearby.
