New homes will set you apart

21st January 2008 Print
New homes will set you apart Home buyers wanting to brighten up their January with a new dream dwelling should look no further than Redrow’s Champany Fields in Dodworth, near Barnsley – where only a handful of properties remain. This popular, all detached development, situated off Station Road, will leave detached enthusiasts jumping for joy with three different styles of new home available.

What’s more, Redrow’s ground breaking ‘house price protection’ promise – which aims to protect the value of customers’ new homes for up to three years – is available on all the remaining properties at Champany Fields, allowing buyers complete piece of mind when purchasing their home.

The new house price promise is just one of the measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow’, which are all designed to make home ownership easier to achieve. At Champany Fields, for example, Redrow may be able to pay customers’ 5% deposit – easing the burden on those stretched January purse strings.

Liz Cooper, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) says: “Champany Fields has proved to be a very popular development indeed and as a consequence, only a handful of our desirable, detached properties remain.

“These homes have been much in demand, helped in part by the fact that truly detached, brand new homes are increasingly rare because of changes in planning legislation that demand higher density developments.

“Detached homes appeal to a variety of customers – especially families and discerning young professionals who want that extra bit of space or privacy. However they can also appeal to friends who have chosen to house-share and investors.”

One of the last homes available at Champany Fields is the Otter. The four-bedroom detached house with integral garage is priced at £269,995 and features a separate lounge and dining room, fitted kitchen/ breakfast room, utility room and cloakroom on the ground floor. The master bedroom with en-suite shower room, three further bedrooms and a family bathroom are above.

Also available is the three-bedroom Kennett priced from £219,999.

Finally there are a couple of four-bedroom Ribble designs available from £259,999, with spacious accommodation arranged over three floors. This property’s piece de resistance can be found in the ‘ready made loft conversion’, which houses a sumptuous master bedroom with en-suite.

If the lure of detached living isn’t enough to tempt home buyers to Champany Fields, then its superb commuter links should do the job. The development of 67 detached homes is adjacent to Dodworth railway station, which offers commuter services to Barnsley (seven minutes), Huddersfield and Sheffield. There is also convenient access to the M1 motorway just one mile away.
