Forget busy and noisy shared receptions – Knight Frank has seen an increase in businesses heading to new build high quality office units where they can opt for their own front door.

Companies have relocated to new units such as the units at Shepcote Office Village in Sheffield offering first-class accommodation set within an attractive landscaped business park, benefiting from excellent motorway links as well as offering a prominent and profile location.

The 9-unit two-storey pavilion style development at Shepcote Office Village has already attracted tenants including accountants Hewson & Howson, photocopier distributors Clarity Copiers, window and double glazing specialist Safestyle, dust and smoke extraction company Nederman, i2 Retirement & Financial Planning and IT specialists Highlander.

Rebecca Schofield, from Knight Frank’s Sheffield office acting for St Modwen Developments Ltd, said: "Companies that require a modern working environment, easy access to the road network and room to expand growing businesses are finding these units fit all those requirements.

"What has become apparent is that the offices are proving attractive to a wide variety of both local and regional occupiers as they provide a clear professional identity for growing businesses."

Three units remain at Shepcote Office Village and they are available for occupation by way of a sale or an occupational lease.

Nigel Cunis of St Modwen added: "The intention for Shepcote Office Village was to create quality units with a strong sense of independence from each other even though they share a common design theme. The concept clearly works and it is excellent feedback for us that companies are choosing these units.”
