Doncaster business park sparks flurry of activity

Viking Hardware has taken a 6,000 sq ft unit on a new 10-year lease, with CenFRA relocating to a 2,963 unit from the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Sheffield where they will undertake their new research and development operation.
House of Play, trading as Astrabound, which designs, manufactures, installs and maintains quality play equipment, has taken the biggest unit at 13,390 sq ft from which it will operate the biggest astroslide in Doncaster.
The three newly located companies join Inspirations Interior Style and Design at Crompton Road Business Park with just two units remaining. The first, a 6,000 sq ft unit includes a self contained service yard suitable for trade use while the second unit is a 50/50 hybrid which provides flexible space suitable for a variety of uses including trade, light industrial or office accommodation.
Rebecca Schofield, from Knight Frank’s Sheffield office acting for the Carnell Group, said: "This latest flurry of lettings mean there is now an impressive tenant mix which underlines the quality of the available accommodation at Crompton Road Business Park.
"The park is based on one of the main arterial routes into Doncaster town centre and is popular with retailers, motor dealers and trade operations."
Crompton Road Business Park is located on the main A635 Wheatley Hall Road one mile from Doncaster town centre and three miles from junction 4 of the M18 offering access to the M1, A1(M) and M180.
