Local builder donates money to playgroup

Teachers, children and parents at Epworth Thurlow Playgroup were delighted after receiving a £500 donation from housebuilders Gladedale South Yorkshire. Shelly Warriner, sales executive for Gladedale South Yorkshire's Windmill View in Epworth, went along to the Epworth Thurlow Playgroup where the cheque was handed over.

Shelly said: "It was great to be able to go to the playgroup and present them with the cheque. The donation from Gladedale South Yorkshire will help the group to buy essentials for the centre, whether that means more soft toys for the children, new equipment or maintenance work.

"We are very happy to help in the community wherever we can and I really enjoyed going to the playgroup and meeting the parents and children. It is a great environment and you can see the children really have a good time.

"The centre serves the local community and nearby villages and has a very important role to play, so we were delighted to be able to support the playgroup."

Epworth Thurlow Playgroup serves the village of Epworth and surrounding areas and is open five days a week, with two sessions a day, during term times.

Prices at Windmill View start at £204,950 for a four bedroom townhouse to a four bedroom detached houses for £264,950.
