Successful lettings continue for South Yorkshire trade park

A successful business park at Doncaster continues to draw tenants with a penultimate letting.

The latest tenant at Crompton Road Business Park is Mawdsleys, a pharmaceutical company servicing global markets, which took a 6,000 sq ft letting from the Carnell Group leaving just one 5,000 sq ft unit available to let.

Mawdsleys has taken unit four at the park and joins established brand names including Astrabound, Viking Hardware, Centre for Food, Robotics and Automation (CenFRA) and Inspirations, all choosing Crompton Road for the quality specification of the units and its prime location relative to motorway networks.

Rebecca Schofield from the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, acting the Carnell Group, said: “Crompton Road has been a great success story and the letting to Mawdsleys on a new lease adds to an already impressive tenant list.

“The park is located in an ideal position to capitalise on both a direct arterial route into Doncaster, providing a healthy labour market and local amenities, and excellent access to the M18, M1, A1 and M62 transport networks.

“The remaining unit three at Crompton Road is a 50/50 hybrid which provides flexible space suitable for a variety of uses including trade, light industrial or office accommodation. Planning consent has been secured to convert the ground floor warehousing into additional offices if required by the occupier.

“We are offering the unit to let by way of very competitive rates and it’s USP is the high specification of finish, in common with all of the Crompton Road units, combined with a highly flexibility layout which makes it suitable for a variety of uses.”

Crompton Road Business Park fronts the main A630 Wheatley Hall Road, approximately one mile North East of Doncaster town centre and three miles from junction four of the M18 motorway.

Joint agent for Crompton Road is Chappell & Co.
