Flight Centre scoops best new brochure award

Travel retailer Flight Centre last week won the ‘best new brochure’ award at Tourism Australia’s annual OzCARS awards ceremony that took place at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham on 26 April.

The OzCARS are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence and achievement in the sales and marketing of Australia. Flight Centre’s Australia brochure was commended for its depth of product, simple and easy to read presentation and layout, good use of consultant tips and quotes and good use of maps.

The brochure was produced internally by Flight Centre’s in-house design studio and is available throughout the company’s network of 98 stores nationwide. It was designed as a tool to help its travel consultants increase sales from hotel and tour packages, and back Flight Centre’s proposition as a specialist retailer to Australia.

Brett Warbrick, commercial and marketing director at Flight Centre said: “We are extremely delighted that our brochure won the best new brochure category and has the backing of Tourism Australia.

“Australia is a core destination focus for Flight Centre and the brochure is a really important tool in our promotion of this region and our strategy to boost land sales.”
