Olly Morgan wings his way to Nantes Olly Morgan, Gloucester Rugby Club’s full back and England Rugby Union team’s Young Wonder is well placed to be winging his way over to Nantes for the Rugby World Cup this September, courtesy of Aer Arann.

Gloucester Rugby Club’s convincing victory over Bristol last Saturday, leaving them top of the Guinness Premiership, leaves Morgan in line to get plenty of top level action for the second half of the season. Morgan made his England debut in the 2007 Six Nations opener against Scotland and will hope to continue playing at national level later this year.

Aer Arann, one of the fastest growing regional airlines in Europe, will delight rugby fans by launching a new route from Bristol – Nantes in advance of the World Cup this year. The flights, which started on Saturday 28th April, will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays with one way prices including tax from £49.

Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing, says: “Aer Arann is delighted to be providing this new service which shows our continued support to opening up Bristol and the surrounding regions as an international growth hub. Business and leisure passengers wishing to travel to the capital of West France have a great choice of flights to choose from. This a great new service for those Bristolians looking to sojourn in France, whether it be for the Rugby or to enjoy the delights of the nearby Loire Valley, indulge in French cuisine and stock up on French wine..”

Tony Hallwood, Bristol International Airport’s Aviation Development Director commented: “Aer Arann’s service to Nantes provides a gateway to north west France for business and leisure travellers. The city is a centre for the aeronautical and food industries, both of which are also strong in the South West, while it is a perfect base for leisure travellers looking to explore the Loire Valley or the Atlantic Coast.”
