Travel shop for Plymouth

Air Southwest has set up an online travel shop in Plymouth’s Drake Circus shopping centre where shoppers can book their flights on the spot, receive expert travel advice and win free tickets. Located in the Upper Mall near Marks & Spencer, the travel shop has information on all Air Southwest flights from Plymouth City Airport to London Gatwick, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Bristol and Jersey.

There are also displays from Marketing Manchester - the tourist board for Manchester; Jersey Tourism and Avis car rental.

A live internet kiosk means shoppers can visit Airsouthwest.com and book flights, accommodation and car rental online. They can also enter a weekly competition to win free tickets to any Air Southwest destination from Plymouth.

Mike Coombes, deputy chief executive at Air Southwest, said: “The travel shop is a great opportunity for local people to find out just how easy it is to fly with Air Southwest from Plymouth City Airport, and with fares starting from just £27 one-way, we offer great value for money.”

Mike Jones, general manager at Drake Circus, said: “Having recently celebrated our 10 millionth visitor to Drake Circus, we’re delighted to welcome Air Southwest as part of our exciting retail mix. Their presence in the Upper Mall can only add to the shopper experience.”

Air Southwest will be in Drake Circus until June 1.
