Aer Arann celebrates double whammy!

One lucky passenger, Laura Hughes of Lasswade Edinburgh, was presented with a bottle of champagne and two free return flights for use on any Aer Arann routes from Edinburgh to celebrate being the 250,000th passenger to travel on the Edinburgh service. It is Laura’s first trip with Aer Arann travelling to a friends wedding in Cork.
Commenting on the announcement Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing Aer Arann said: “Five years at Edinburgh is a significant milestone and carrying our 250,000th passenger is yet another great achievement for the airline. We now have a loyal passenger base in Scotland since we began our Edinburgh operation in 2002 and the success of our Cork and Galway routes further strengthens our commitment to connecting Scotland to the regions of Ireland.”
David Johnston, Managing Director of Edinburgh Airport said, "Aer Arran has been one of the great success stories at Edinburgh Airport over the last few years. The fact that their two routes to Galway and Cork have carried 250,000 passengers in just 5 years shows the popularity of both the airline and the two services."
