Aer Arann says no to check-in charges

Aer Arann says no to check-in charges Aer Arann, one of Europe’s fastest growing airlines, confirmed today that it has no plans to introduce check-in charges on its domestic and international routes in the wake of other airlines adding yet more surcharges to the cost of their flights.

Aer Arann operates over 500 flights per week across 43 routes in Ireland, the UK and France and carries over 1 million passengers per year.

Commenting on the check-in charge issue Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing, Aer Arann said “While other airlines see check-in charges as a way of increasing revenue, Aer Arann is committed to operating a fair service for our passengers. We have no plans to introduce any additional check-in charges for passengers on our flights. We see these additional charges as potential deterrents to frequent air travel.”
