12th September 2007 Print
Heathrow Express has announced today how they will continue to provide passengers with the fastest, most frequent and reliable way to get to and from Heathrow airport when Terminal 5 opens in March 2008.

Departing from London’s Paddington station every 15 minutes, passengers will arrive into the heart of Heathrow airport after 15 minutes; stopping for a short period of time at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 before continuing their journey to arrive at Terminal 5 eight minutes later.

Passengers wishing to travel to Terminal 4 can change at Terminals 1, 2, 3 and then board the free inter terminal transfer service.

Brian Raven, Managing Director for Heathrow Express, said, “This is a major step forward for Heathrow Express in supporting the launch of Terminal 5 and we want to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our passengers as Heathrow airport becomes Europe’s leading gateway. By implementing these changes we can ensure that passengers continue to find their journey to and from the airport fast, frequent, comfortable and relaxing.”

Operated by BAA, Heathrow Express carries an average of 16,000 passengers every day and over 30 million people have travelled on the service since its launch in 1998.
