Regional carrier celebrates 1st birthday Aer Arann, Europe’s premier regional airline is celebrating its 1st anniversary of the Galway service from Leeds Bradford. In addition, due to the success of the Cork service, the airline will increase the frequency of flights to this lively city-break destination to daily flights for the winter, up from five days per week.

Commenting on the announcement, Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing, Aer Arann said: “The Galway and Cork services, as two of the top Irish short-break destinations, have proved to be huge success stories for Aer Arann at Leeds Bradford. Indeed Leeds Bradford continues to be a popular destination for the Irish, both for students or as a gateway to Yorkshire and beyond. Our 25,000 passengers who have availed of the Leeds Bradford services in the past year seem to agree!”

"We are extremely pleased to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Aer Arann’s Galway service from Leeds Bradford Airport” commented Sam Wynzar, Communications Officer with Leeds Bradford Airport. “The flights to Cork and Galway have proved to be a great enhancement to the services available from the airport and Aer Arann have shown strong commitment to reliability and customer service over the past 12 months, a pledge that our passengers really appreciate" she added.
