Meteor meet and greet parking has reported a record number of bookings for the pre-Christmas period, thanks to Europe’s ski slopes opening early this year. A major snow storm, which came in across the eastern Alps last month left well over a metre of snow in some parts of Austria causing resorts such as Kitzbuhel, 760m (2493ft), to open its lifts six weeks early, followed by resorts across Switzerland, Italy and France.

In terms of bookings we have seen a 58% increase compared to last year, some of which is thanks to the early snowfall and is also due to an increase in awareness of meet and greet parking as a perfect add-on for travel agents to sell to skiers.”
